Baby Fever! 11/27/2011
 
It's already late but I can't sleep! I guess I got too excited about the baby news and I think I'm having the baby fever again. Paging hubby... when are we going to start making baby no. 2? Haha! Oh well, with my new job and our new townhome, it's best to wait a little longer. We need to get settled first in our new home and then I also need time to adjust in my new job. When all of that is accomplished then we can start planning for baby no. 2. At least that will also give us ample time to save up for this pricey baby jogger city mini gt that I want for the next baby.

My friend just posted an update on his Facebook and he said he already checked in his wife in a hospital in Idaho. And any minute from now, their firstborn will be out! Weee! I'm so excited for them! If only Idaho is near, I would definitely drive there and help out in passing the Dutch Master once Baby Boy Smith is out. But since it's a 2-hour drive from here, all I can do right now is pray for the mom to have a safe and speedy delivery and for the baby to come out healthy.

Stupidity comes with a price tag. That's what my friend proved when he accidentally loaded diesel on his new car. He didn't double check the pump so his car ended stalling along the highway. Good thing his insurance covers roadside assistance plan so he just called them and had his car towed to the nearest auto shop. Guess how much it cost him? $1,250!!! The auto mechanic had to empty the fuel tank on his car and replace some parts. That's how big the damage is! A word of advice, don't turn on the ignition or start the car if you have loaded the wrong fuel to avoid expensive repair!

Oh well, I guess it's too late to go camping next weekend. It already started snowing in the mountains and the temperature has dropped significantly. We might freeze to death if we don't cancel our camping trip. It's really disappointing but we can't do anything about it. It's hard to go against mother nature. We'll just unpack our stuffs then and put the Lightweight Backpacking Tents back to the storage. We'll just save them for next year. At least now we know better!

I think Paramedics has one of the most exciting jobs out there. Exciting but nerve-wracking as well. They are the ones who are sent out on emergency situations to provide advanced levels of care. Say for example in car accidents, paramedics are dispatched by 911 to the check out the scene and if anyone is injured, they can perform certain medical procedures to prevent further injury and they are also the ones tasked to bring the victim/s to a medical facility.

Geez I can't wait for Black Friday Sale! I already made a shopping list as early as now so I will have everything I need for Christmas Day. I don't want to feel rushed and disorganized just like last time so I am doing everything in advance this year. Hopefully my favorite stores will give out huge discounts on the items on my list so I won't break the bank. And I'm also hoping that there won't be any problem with the Retail System so that everything will go smoothly.
