Have you seen that video of a two-year old boy from Sumatra, Indonesia smoking a cigarette at Youtube? Some people who saw it said it was funny but for me, it was really shocking and disturbing. What kind of parents would allow their kids to smoke at such tender age? According to news reports, the boy had his first cigarette when he was just 18 months old and what's so disturbing is the fact that it was his dad who gave it to him. And six months after that, little Ardi Riza, the two-year old boy, has turned into a chain smoker. He now smokes 40 cigarettes a day! Can you imagine that?

The mother said little Ardi would throw tantrums and would bang his head on the wall if they would not give him a cigarette that's why she sought help from the authorities. The father on the other hand, is not as bothered. He sees no problem about his son's smoking addiction because the little boy "looks" healthy. I don't know what to say. There's no one to blame here but the parents. They should be ashamed of themselves. This never would have happened if they didn't allow it in the first place. I just hope it's not too late for little Ardi. He's going to die young if his smoking addiction is not treated. :(
