Roses for a Dear Friend 07/24/2010
![]() A dear friend who lives in Houston is celebrating her 30th birthday next month and I'm thinking of sending her some fresh flowers on her special day. That's why I'm browsing the internet right now for the best Houston flowers delivery service in her area. It has to be the best because I want the flowers to arrive fresh and on time. And because she loves pink roses, I am sending her a bunch of it just like the ones you see on the picture. I'm sure she will love it! Add Comment So Sweet of Her! 07/24/2010
My friend got me a $50 gift card from Amazon yesterday. I asked her what it's for and she told me it's an early birthday present. I was overwhelmed! It was really sweet of her to remember my birthday when in fact it's still six weeks away. She is indeed a friend for keeps! Not because she's giving me presents and stuff but she's really different because she would always call me and ask me how I'm doing. Unlike my other friends here who would only keep in touch when they need something. You can't call that a real friend, right? Anyway, I still haven't decided what to get with my gift card. I might grab a bestseller at Amazon books. And if there's still more credit left then I will buy an educational DVD for my little boy. I'm getting tired of Barney. It's time I introduce my little boy to a new buddy. Comment: Sourcebits 07/22/2010

![]() Happy Birthday Mama! 07/19/2010
My mom would have been 52 years old today. But she's with our Maker now so she will remain 50 years old forever. Forever young, forever beautiful. :) Ma, wherever you are, I just want you to know that I miss you so much. And I feel really sorry for not being there with you on your last days here on earth. It still breaks my heart every time I think of that moment. But I know you understand. Thank you for everything Ma. I know the last 11 years of your life wasn't easy but you stayed with us until you're sure that we're all okay and we can take care of ourselves. I remember when you got sick for the first time, that was on New Year's eve - January 1, 1998, I begged God to let you stay with us because we were so young then. And He answered my prayer. He let you stay for 11 more years. Sometimes I feel like I was being selfish when I made that request because I know those 11 years was difficult for you Ma but you persevered all the odds just to be with us. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for us. Your strength and your zest for life will always be an inspiration to me and one that I will pass on to my children. I love you Mama and happy birthday again! And please extend my birthday greetings to Lola Tentay who's up there in heaven with you. I know the angels are throwing a party for the two of you so enjoy it! :) Money Personality Quiz 07/15/2010

I am getting a lot of fresh new ideas from this home decorating website I'm reading right now. It teaches readers how to maximize spaces and decorate rooms. They also have this cool feature where you can virtually decorate your own room and save it for future reference. I tried copying the layout of our new apartment and I liked how it turned out after I decorated it. The lighting fixtures, furniture and the wall decors I picked really complemented each other. I even showed it to my husband and he liked it as well. Breastfeeding and Eczema Risk 07/15/2010
(Reuters Health) - Longer breastfeeding may increase, not decrease, the risk of a common itchy skin condition called atopic dermatitis that develops in about 12 percent of babies, a new study from Taiwan suggests. To all expectant moms out there, you better read this one especially if you're planning to breastfeed your baby. According to the study conducted by Chao-Hua Chuang, and colleagues at Chang Jung Christian University and other institutions in Taiwan, they found out that longer breastfeeding may raise infants' eczema risk. They found that not only did longer breastfeeding not protect against the skin condition as might have been expected, it appeared to also increase the risk that a child would have atopic dermatitis at 18 months. For more details on this study, feel free to visit the Reuters Health website. The Newest Addition 07/15/2010
![]() Oh my gosh! I am so thrilled when I found out that Forever 21 has a new maternity line. It's called Love 21 Maternity. They are selling cute maternity tops, tanks, camis, tunics, cardigans, leggings, yoga pants, and belly panels for all hot mommas out there. They also have roomy totes and bags perfect for carrying those baby stuff. Actually when I saw their new line, it made me want to be pregnant again. LOL! Don't care if I have to drink those humongous prenatal vitamins again just as long as I get to wear fancy clothes that will flatter my preggy curves. ;) Found Our New Home! 07/14/2010
Well, I'm very happy to say that we finally found the place we can call home! In this case, our third home. LOL! We've been here in Utah for only two years but we've lived in three different cities already. Our first apartment was located right at the heart of downtown Salt Lake. Then when our lease expired, we decided to move to West Valley City - closer to the Filipino and Asian stores. And this year, we are moving again to another city. This time we picked Murray City. The new condo we're renting is close to shopping malls, parks, hospitals, and other business establishments. It is also close to my favorite shopping mall, Fashion Place, where Nordstrom is located. Anyway, speaking of shopping malls, I need to go there after we're done moving our stuff because our outdoor cushions needs replacement. It had been heavily stained the last time I hosted a party. I also need new floor lamps and some wall paintings to add a "homey" feeling to our new abode. | AuthorI'm a little bit of everything all rolled into one...
