I don't know if I should be worried or not after reading my birthday horoscope yesterday. It says that I was born knowing how to eat healthy and that I should find it easy to stay in good shape. When in truth, I do not possess any of those characteristics. I like greasy foods and hitting the gym had been the least of my priorities for such a long time. I could not even remember the last time I went to the gym. Gee! Oh well, I guess the stars are just reminding me to get back on the right track. To be in good shape again  (like those brand new spring plungers hubby bought for his tools) and live healthy.

The Year Ahead: Forecast for September 2010 to September 2011

Famous people born today: Keanu Reeves, Jimmy Connors, Salma Hayek.

Your Birthday Year Forecast: The year ahead is likely to be a busy one for you. At times, you may feel like the pace of your life is running ahead of you. You can be especially productive, however, in all types of communications--writing, speaking, learning, teaching, and so forth.

In the year ahead, you are likely to form new relationships or connections that further your spiritual growth, or to enhance existing relationships with a spirit of camaraderie. People in authority regard you favorably. Events take place in which you feel like you are moving forward and growing into a new phase of your life.

Mercury trine the Moon's North Node suggests making contact through learning, communicating, and mental pursuits. It suggests an intellectually stimulating year in which the exchange of ideas with others figures prominently.

Your ambition is stimulated, and you are determined to meet or exceed your goals.

Social relationships and partnerships come into strong focus this year. Venus conjunct Mars in your Solar Return chart this year points to creative energy, romantic excitement, and playful competitiveness in relationships. Romance is in the air, as this aspect increases your sensuality, sex appeal, and animal magnetism. A new or enhanced relationship is possible. Now is also a good time to engage in creative projects and to join with others in pursuing a common goal. Competitive activities, in general, are favored.

Fall is Here! 08/31/2010

There's no denying it! The fall season is definitely here! I can tell because the weather is starting to cool down. It's been over a week since we stopped using our air conditioner and whenever I go out, I have to bring my light jacket with me because the wind is a bit chilly already. Although I haven't seen any changes in the color of the leaves yet, but I know mother earth will soon undergo another dramatic transformation. And I can't wait to witness that one! And then come winter time, my mouth is going to be smokin' cold again! I will look like I've been smoking Padron cigars but it's not! It's just one of the tricks you can do when the weather gets too cold. ;)

Twilight Love 08/22/2010

I can totally relate to this cheesy status update I got from Facebook. It goes like this: "Has a man who loves her like Edward loves Bella - he just doesn't sparkle... we're working on it." ♥

So like my man! He makes me feel loved all the time. Last night, he gave me a kiss and a hug in the middle of the night and told me he loves me so much. So sweet of him! But that's not all, he also got out of bed, checked on our little boy and tucked his blankie in place. He's the bestest husband and father ever! I couldn't ask for more. :)

Music Lover 08/20/2010

My son has a new passion - drumming! That's why the daddy is contemplating whether or not he would buy him that cute stainless steel drums we saw at the toy store a few weeks ago. But I disagreed.  I told him to wait until our lil boy is old enough because that drum set is a little bit pricey. Our son is only 18 months old and he doesn't know how to take care of his stuff yet and I'm sure it will only take a couple of weeks  or even days before he breaks the drum set. And besides I just bought a piano and guitar last month so he doesn't really need a new toy right now. But if hubby would really insist, well, he can just buy those cheaper drums made by Chicco or Fisher Price.

Here's a screenshot of my new record-breaking score in Plants vs. Zombies! I survived 51 Flags before the zombies ate my brain. LOL!

I know it's still too early to talk about Christmas but I can't help it! I'm excited to put up our beautiful Christmas tree and adorn it with decors and led christmas lights. I am planning to buy more ornaments this year and more lights too because I want to decorate our patio as well. I want our friends and loved ones to feel the spirit of Christmas every time they visit our home.
